New York's cultural hot-spot, the luxurious Standard Hotel recently installed SYNLawn on the hotel's rooftop to created a high-altitude country club setting with a spectacular view. Described as a "retro wonderland that looks like what could very well have been Dean Martin's Vegas backyard in the '60s" by the hoteliers the rooftop is covered in SYNLawn's artificial grass with fashionable furniture, glass walls, picnic tables and five oversized, round, pink waterbeds.

The recent upgrade to the hotel's rooftop is a growing trend within urban environments. Once un-used spaces can now be transformed into plush, grassy, comfortable living spaces for entertaining or simply relaxing.
