NEW YORK, NY — Display designers working for the 59th Street Bloomingdale’s in New York chose SYNLawn to create their version of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. Window set designers selected SYNFescue 120 artificial grass for it’s ease of use during installation and for it’s affordable price.

“SYNLawn was very easy to work with,” said Ed Sylvia, Bloomingdale’s Operating Supervisor Window Display, “The artificial turf was easy to cut and sculpt into place, plus it fit into our budget nicely.”

Bloomingdale’s has a long-standing relationship with SYNLawn New York and has used various artificial turf products from SYNLawn for many display designs over the past several years. Working with the designers, SYNLawn New York made the product recommendation based on its multi-colored blend of fibers and stunningly natural appearance.

“We chose SYNFescue 120 as recommended by SYNLawn New York because it suited the design concept and budget constraints,” said Harry Medina, Bloomingdale’s Window Display Director, “It has 3 different types of yarn which give it a lot of depth. It also looks fantastic under the bright overhead lights. As you can see, it looks great!”

Many passers-by noticed the incredible display and had a few things to say about the SYNLawn.

“That is so cool. The grass looks so real! Can I put some in my yard so my husband doesn”t have to mow?” Said Danielle from New York.

“It looks like the grass that was used in the movie.” Said Layne from Indiana.

“How often do they have to mow it?” Said George from Nevada.

The 375 square foot Wonderland installation was almost not to be due to one of the worst snow storms New York has seen in 50 years. The original delivery date was moved up by Bloomingdale’s just as 3 feet of snow covered the city. While the city was nearly shut down, SYNLawn showed up on time and saved the day!
